And to be vulnerable with you all, it wasn’t always like this from the start. It took lots of conversations, time understanding my conditions, and prayer to get here. It was super difficult on both of us to suddenly have all of these limitations and confusing symptoms. So I encourage you, if you’re chronically ill, to be patient with those around you and answer all of their questions and help educate them on what is going on with your body. It’s stressful and confusing for them too. 💗

my girlfriend suffers from this as well and she has had to cancel date nights and stuff because she's sick and I always make sure she feels loved and supported and I never let her feel like she's being dramatic or anything i just show her everyday that I love her and I will never stop loving her

Have you been tested for EBV? Have you ever had mono. I was just reading an article that’s reactivated EBV can trigger MCAS.

it really really sucks having been disabled+ chronically ill and also depressed off and on for so many years and feeling utterly useless for not being able to contribute to the household in any way especially when I used to be able to when we first got married. I'm so grateful that he doesn't berate me, call me lazy or make me out to be worthless because of this because my mental health wouldn't be able to handle being in such a connection. I'm so entirely grateful for him
