Birth Story: Woke up on 2/15 feeling “off” went to my normal 5AM gym class. Came home did my normal routine and started working. I did kind of feel off all day but I was 37 weeks so brushed it off to being pregnant. 3:50PM hits and the contractions inmediately start, something I didnt experience with my first as she was a scheduled C. I started timing cntxs and they were about 3-5 minutes apart. Around 4:10PM I log off of work and go pick my daughter up from daycare. 6:00PM rolls around i am still having cntxs. My sweet OB friend told me to rest and drink water & if they continue go get seen. Well 8:00PMish gets here and she checks on me again where the contractions have upped just a little bit in intensity. She immediately told me to go to the observation unit. In the meantime we are rounding up childcare, putting our 3 year old to bed, and throwing bags together. We get to the hospital and I am 2CM and “baby is sleepy”. They wait an hour and re-check and I am now 3.5CM. Doctor says “you’re having a baby tonight” The rest is history. Went frim 3.5 to 10 in less than 2 hours. Had Mallie via suction at 1:30AM and a successful VBAC! We had no idea of her diagnosis at this time and did not find out until later. More to come on that! #birthstory #birth #vbac #babygirl
