@homeforinnocentsouls: At just one year old, Doug should be running through fields, playing fetch, and sleeping safely on a warm bed. Instead, he found himself alone, battered, and brought to the Devore shelter following suspected trauma. When Doug arrived, his body was covered in painful wounds, he had a ruptured eardrum, and every step was a struggle. Wearing his protective cone, he looked around his shelter kennel—confused, in pain, yet holding onto hope. Despite everything he has endured, Doug’s heart remains remarkably soft. When people approach his kennel, he gently pushes his head forward, looking up with bright, resilient eyes, begging not for vengeance, but simply for love, kindness, and a gentle touch. Doug is slowly healing day by day, but the clock is ticking against him. With a deadline of 8/18, he urgently needs an emergency foster or adoptive family, alongside funds for his ongoing medical treatment and proper nutrition. With the right care and a loving home, Doug can fully recover and live the happy, safe life he deserves.#SaveDoug #RescueDog #DevoreShelter #UrgentDogRescue #FosterNeeded
