😭From 2022 until this year, my life was a quiet, agonizing loop of hope and heartbreak. Trying for a baby consistently since 2024 meant thousands of dollars out of pocket on fertility treatments, specialized tests, and every internet-famous pregnancy trick I could find. It meant crying through negative test after negative test every single cycle, praying for a miracle while watching everyone else's lives move forward. The grief became so heavy that I completely isolated myself, retreating from the world because the pain was too much to carry out loud. But after years of fighting in the dark, I finally survived the storm and brought home my rainbow baby. Seeing public figures like Alex Cooper and campaigns like Babylist step up to support new parents makes my heart ache in the best way. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a mom, but in November 2024, I decided to take things into my own hands. Learning about the solo-mom-by-choice (SMBC) community and the different paths to motherhood was both freeing and empowering. What once felt uncertain suddenly felt possible. After three IUIs, a round of IVF, and a whole lot of hope, here we are. 💕 This journey hasn’t looked exactly the way I once imagined, but it has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’m so grateful for the love and support that has carried me here, and so excited to begin this next chapter.
