Janhae reached for her hand and intertwined their fingers. For a few quiet moments, they simply sat there. No classmates. No teachers. No pretending. Just them. “I missed you today,” Jingjing whispered. Janhae squeezed her hand. “I missed you too.” Then Jingjing rested her head against Janhae's shoulder again.
