Ooo, idea. In the Barbie movie, there’s a trans actress which was so cool to see! You could totally do a girls movie night and stream the Barbie movie (it’s all about abolishing societal expectations around women but also so freaking hilarious!) and you could totally gift her a Barbie like someone else said, either before you watch or after!

even though she's older, maybe see if she wants to go to a toy store and buy a couple of "girly" toys that she maybe was always two scared/ashamed/whatever to ask for. I sometimes do this as validation for my own inner child and it helps a LOT!

I've been crying throughout this whole series. As a trans kid whose parents don't accept him, all I ever wanted was for my parents to do even a fraction of the things you have done for your daughter. In the 5+ years I've been out, they haven't done anything like this to try to understand. You are doing a fantastic job and your daughter is so lucky to have you as a mother.

A slumber party. Just the two of you for now but cute pj's, pizza & snacks, a movie, get out the makeup & hair stuff. Give her a girlhood experience like you had as a kid. Doesn't have to be costly, just a fun bonding experience. When she starts to tell others & has more people supporting her journey, make the slumber parties or tea parties or brunches a way to invite those people in as part of her team.🥰

Take yourself out, get yourself presents, and remind yourself how proud you are and how far you have come. It’s important to Stay positive. I'm transmasc nonbinary and your videos are so heartwarming to watch! Growing up I didn't like to do a ton of feminine stuff (shopping/doing makeup/trying on clothes/jewelry etc) so i have nothing specific to recommend, but just going out on errands and spending quality time with my mom was always nice. We still do that now and it's fun, so maybe find a way to fill a day together or take a small girls trip somewhere! Wishing you both the best ❤️🏳️⚧️
