@elly.psychologist: If you constantly flip between knowing a relationship is not good for you and then wondering whether it is actually just you, that flip is not random confusion, it is often the actual shape of the problem. A relationship can genuinely have good moments, plenty of them, and still be the thing slowly wearing you down, because what matters most is not whether things are ever good in the relationship, it is what happens specifically after conflict. When you try to tell someone that something upset you in the relationship, does it lead to real effort to understand you, or does it get redirected into denial, a different version of events, or being told you are too sensitive, too much, or too needy. That kind of redirection turns a normal relationship disagreement into something closer to a maze, where you end up fighting just to be heard and still walk away feeling like you are the one who did something wrong. Long, confusing arguments that leave you unsure what you were even arguing about are exhausting enough that you let things go, and then the relationship often finds its way back to feeling good again, sometimes through genuine warmth, sometimes through a softer moment that pulls you back in, and feeling good again is real, it is just not proof the earlier feeling was wrong. That is the part worth naming clearly, because the cycle of good moments erasing your certainty about bad ones is often exactly how emotional abuse operates inside a relationship, not despite the good moments but through them, and learning to recognise that cycle rather than endlessly trying to fix yourself inside the relationship is usually what finally makes the confusion make sense Official accounts and resources: www.ellyanastasiades.com #relationshiptok #relationshiptips #relationshipissues #relationshipabuse #relationshipproblems

Interesting I used that phrase with my partner where I said it’s a labyrinth, like I have to work so hard just for a right of being heard, let alone hoping for being understood and met. There’s no curiosity, maybe a question but not actually hearing an answer.
