A wedding day near Oxford, England was ruined after a guest was arrested for biting off someone's finger. In May of 2023, Daniel Peasnell was celebrating his 31st birthday by drinking heavily the entire day. He later went to his friend’s wedding, where he got into an argument about how much he had been drinking. When he tried to attack the groom, the groom’s uncle stepped in to stop the fight, but this only led to Peasnell biting the man’s finger off. Police then arrived and subdued Peasnell who threatened to bite off one of the officer’s noses. Peasnell was charged with fighting in a public space and threatening an officer and on December 21, 2025, was sentenced to five years in prison. #truecrime
