Whether it’s Lindsay or Latarsha or even Nolan Wells… the themes seem to overlap imo. The blatant gaslighting by law enforcement and the gov echoes in all of these cases.

The silver lining of the Lindsay case is that it got black and white women supporting each other’s health. As soon as Latarsha was brought to the attention of white women I saw many of them speaking out about her case. We’re standing in solidarity with each other.

As a black woman, if PC did this and used LCs mental health against her….its my BIGGEST fear living out in front of me. I don’t get things diagnosed because I don’t want to used against me.

I saw a black woman on here say that if this kind of medical and judicial gaslighting can happen to a privileged white woman, it is their business to see it through because it could happen to them at a worse scale. (I’m paraphrasing, but she’s right)

I think the black women being intrigued and speaking on this case speaks volumes for the medical neglect that black people are still facing at exponential rates compared to white people. Having Lindsay with the juxtaposition of Latarsha still screams about how medical studies were not even conducted on women until 20 years ago, and therefore it’s easy for the medical field to bias and dismiss women and their concerns.

We just have to be careful that this doesn’t turn into ‘women with a bipolar diagnosis or past history of PPD/PPP are discouraged or even banned from having babies…’ legislation comes from uproars in many cases… everyone should be treated as individuals.

And I have seen so many comments intended on belittling women who are supporting Lindsay. They are so naive in their total faith in the system. If you don’t believe in forced confessions or wrongful incarceration, well… bless your heart.

I truly believe that the matriarchy is waking up, collectively, and thanks to technology and having a way to find eachother across all spaces and at all times, that for the first time in history they can’t isolate us from eachother- we are all realizing our stories are the same, our intuitions are the same, we are stronger TOGETHER as women, and that scares the hell out of them.

I have an update! I just got off the phone with Latarsha’s lawyer. He is going to have to do some research to figure out how we can donate. He mentioned that he will talk to Latarsha’s family and also Reddington (after LC trial is over) about how Reddington has his payment page set up. This is going to take some time. He said he will stay in touch with me over the coming weeks. I feel optimistic that we’re going to be able to do this!
