Amen brother, I offer my sincerest condolences. In verse Jeremiah 34:14, it says God will turn your mourning into laughter and your sorrow into joy, He will comfort you & give you unconditional love. In grief, we often feel dejected or in turmoil. But, this verse grounds our grief and instead instructs us to turn it into joy and happiness. For grief and sorrow is an experience, but it isn’t a lifestyle. Your departed family will be remembered even as they’re not of this world anymore, and that’s okay. You remember them in your heart, and soul. They’ll always live on in you. I too am grieving the passing of my auntie who recently passed, and the feeling that she’s gone hasn’t hit me yet. I didn’t know her well so I can’t commit myself to bawling, but I still feel grief. She was a great auntie and I miss her very much despite all that. Amen brother, keep moving forward. 🙏
