My dad is a guilt tripper. I’ll respond with “stop guilt tripping me” and he’ll use a different manipulative tactic and say something on the lines of “oh my God, I was just joking Emily” (he wasn’t) so I say “so was I, I was just playing along!” then the conversation usually ends.
