I think the company only needs to pay for employees’ meals if they’re asked at short notice to stay back and work overtime. If sufficient notice is given, I believe the company doesn’t need to provide a meal or pay a meal allowance.

so you think $8 is expensive, yet your driver probably spent 10 minutes driving there, finding your building. waiting for your food. they get $8, or less. often $6, for that sort of delivery, minus fuel, wait times can be 10 20 min. so that's $16/hr. fair system

Can you share how are all the Labour Hire Companies able to get workers on ABN and get away with it? What is the business model they use? So fascinating the ATO won’t shut it down! I mean run a Labour Hire Company owe $100 mill in taxes and still operate and on Government projects! So fascinating
