when you talk about "Communication issues" when ordering, please consider this; English is clearly not his first language but he does speak our language. unfortunately, you were not speaking English as a foreigner would learn it. "Do ya do any peas or curry or owt?" is not English. My wife is from overseas and works in a restaurant in England. she constantly struggles to understand English people who speak quickly in their various accents, using slang or shortened words. When dealing with establishments with none English people working there, I would always try to speak clearly and correctly. just my observation mate
