just a girl from India with an international friend group somehow 😭 I’m from India but somehow my friends are from all over the world and honestly I think that’s one of the coolest things about having online friends. Different countries, different time zones, different cultures, different languages, different foods, different lives, yet somehow we still ended up finding each other on the internet 😭 It’s actually crazy to think about how there are people living thousands of kilometres away from me who I would’ve probably never met in real life, but now I know their personalities, their jokes, their favourite things, their random stories, their problems, their humour, and all the little things that make them who they are. Like imagine telling younger me that one day I’d have friends from completely different parts of the world and that we’d randomly be talking at the most cursed hours because our time zones refuse to cooperate The internet is genuinely such a strange place because you can be sitting in your room in India while someone you care about is sitting somewhere completely different, under a completely different sky, living a completely different life. And somehow you can still feel close to them. So yeah, I’m from India, but my friends are from different countries, different cultures and different corners of the world, and I wouldn’t trade that for anything. Maybe one day we’ll actually meet instead of saying “WE NEED TO MEET IRL” every other week 😭 until then, we’ll continue surviving the time zones, sending each other random photos, disappearing for 3 hours because someone fell asleep, and pretending we’re not counting down until we can finally meet. different countries, same friendship 🫶🏻 #india #indian #onlinefriends #internetfriends #internationalfriends - @z0o_re1
