Monsters is the least of our worries, Gen A have demonised vanilla, human-on-human fantasy let alone anything remotely exotic. They’re slowly ending sexuality, night life, comedy and anything else that doesn’t fit their bizarre cleansed view of what humanity should be.

Also if you’re looking at it from a biological standpoint, the brain crosses wires very easily when it comes to things that should incite fear or arousal. i read about it in the book ‘why zebras don’t get ulcers’, and the author was talking about how “fight, flight, or freeze” actually has an addition of “fuck” because the hormones responsible for assessing danger and increasing adrenaline arouses the body the same way sexual behaviors do. That’s why it makes it easy for the brain to see something that should be dangerous as something sexually exciting, cause it’s all the same chemicals! Anyways, love your work! 💞

Yes! This is very interesting and worth knowing. Especially if the alternative is to just bulle and ostracize people. Probably the Japanese tentacle erotica, with first woodworks dated as as early as 1781, with the most famous one, “the Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife”, 1813, should also be mentioned in this monster-loving history context - despite having many interpretations, it is kind of an early fanfic of a legend about Tamatori, a lady pearl diver who stole a jewel from an underwater Dragon King, who send his minions to pursue her, but in these depictions, they end up falling into pleasure together instead.

Thank you for trying to explain things and educate people! Shaming or insulting people certainly isn't the solution. I know it's not their fault they've been raised to be like this, but it sure can get frustrating to deal with, and I know I'm not the right person to try to help them understand because I WILL end up snapping at them. 😅 Thank you for having the patience to make the attempt
