Still didn’t explain anything. I’m 25 and I’ve been working since I was 12. It’s a great way for kids to make money, stay out of trouble and learn important people and life skills before they get thrown to the wolves at 18.

Its kind of hilarious the logic. Its not "We are not getting paid enough" its "We need more people in our household working to make more money." Its like the cartoon of the characters needing to escape a room, "You threw the key out of the window?!" Jumping out the window, grabbing the key, climbing back into the room to unlock the door to leave.

to be fair, anyone under the age of 18 having a job (does not matter what kind of job) is child labor. That's why instead of explaining why child labor is bad, because it's not always bad, you should explain why we have child labor laws. We can all agree that a 5 year old being sent to work in a place for 15 hours a day, not being allowed to go to school and possibly getting disabled by doing that job is bad. A 16 year old working part time or during summer break in a store or a fast food place isn't bad.
