@philippinestar: Vice President Sara Duterte called for the implementation of psychosocial wellness and anti-bullying programs in schools in light of the recent school shooting in Zamboanga City. “Dapat meron tayong psychosocial wellness program sa loob ng ating mga paaralan. Iba pa ’yung anti-bullying program sa loob din ng ating paaralan,” Duterte told the media in an ambush interview on Wednesday. Duterte said monitoring by school authorities should cover not only students but the entire campus community, including school personnel, to identify those who may need therapy, counseling or other forms of support. “Lahat ng buong community sa loob ng paaralan. Dapat meron tayong pagmo-monitor kung kailangan ba nila ng tulong, kung kailangan nila ng therapy, kailangan nila ng counseling,” she added. Two students were killed in the shooting incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga University, including the shooter himself. Meanwhile, Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla clarified that there was no bullying incident against the suspect. #philippinestar
