It’s so sad that she got so much hate even though she knew something was wrong with Kevin and her husband was being a complete ignorant incompetent asshole when she told him she didn’t feel safe around him. The signs were so obvious. She was the only one that was trying to do something about him.

The movie does a terrible job at displaying the total narcissism this woman holds. It's def a story of the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree and once you neglect the apple, it turns sour.
