PRN gives you so much flexibility especially for parents. And you can still invest your money into a Roth IRA! Best decision I made 🥰

The only cheat code is full-time for benefits and PRN/Agency for extra money. Working OT at the full time job is a waste of time and money.

The real cheat is internal float! You keep the benefits, flexible schedule, and increased pay!

We’re not gonna do that because we need a good job with great benefits and towards our retirement. There’s nothing like cheap code to nursing. Short term only not for long term. Sorry I do not agree with you.

I disagree. No benefits with PRN and the pay isn’t good like it used to be. I make way more FT staff. Plus benefits and PTO is free money, you don’t get any of that PRN.

only thing is if you’re PRN you aren’t guaranteed your hours if census is low depending on where you work at you get cancelled speaking from when i was an aid but as a LPN my staff job pays very good no complaints this far!

It only works for a short time and only if you’re a newer nurse (less than 5 years). In my staff position, I make about $15 more per hour vs the PRN rate. Also, that PRN stagnates. Years of experience in a union hospital is better. You will eventually climb beyond that PRN rate. Plus I have full benefits. Been a nurse 13 years
