@studyworkuk: 1. NHS Jobs 🏥 Don’t only search clinical jobs. Look at IT, data, finance, HR, project management, research, administration, procurement and operations too. The NHS is a huge employer, with around 2.07 million employees in March 2026. 2. Civil Service Jobs 🏛️ Policy, project delivery, digital, finance, HR, communications, analysis, operations and more. You can apply directly to vacancies rather than relying only on graduate schemes. 3. Civil Service Fast Stream 🚀 If you’re eligible, this is worth knowing about. There are 17 specialist schemes, covering areas such as finance, digital, policy and more. 4. Local councils 🏛️ Search individual council career pages for project, policy, finance, digital, planning, HR, social care and administrative roles. 5. UK universities 🎓 Don’t only search for academic jobs. Universities employ huge numbers of people in professional services, research, IT, finance, HR, student services, project management and administration. 6. Large international companies 🌍 Especially organisations where your overseas experience is an advantage rather than something you have to explain away. 7. Graduate schemes Your MSc can be useful for structured graduate-entry routes. For example, the Civil Service Fast Stream accepts graduates across many degree subjects. 8. Specialist job boards Don’t rely exclusively on Indeed. Find the job board specific to your profession. 9. Recruiters in your sector Particularly useful for corporate, finance, technology, engineering, healthcare and specialist roles. 10. The employer’s own careers page 👀 This is the one I would NOT skip. Find the organisation you want → go directly to its careers page → search the exact job titles you’re targeting. And if you need sponsorship… Add another filter. Employer has a sponsor licence ≠ every job they advertise is eligible for sponsorship. You need to check the specific role, occupation, salary and your immigration circumstances before treating it as a sponsorship opportunity. And if you’re currently on a Graduate visa, remember that it allows eligible graduates to work in most jobs, but it cannot be extended; you may need to switch to another route if you want to remain longer. Your MSc has already got you through the education door. Now stop searching for “any job.” Search for: the right employer + the right job title + the right application strategy. 🇬🇧 Dm me to apply with me
