Heavy rain is so normal, flooding isnt. Floods reflect the poor management of LGUs and the general government. May we get the service we pay for.

Welcome to UST. Being an alumni of UST, what I did back then is I kept some extra clothes (basically, clothes na pde ko isulong sa baha) in my locker just in case such things happen. This is my suggestion to you since for sure, this wouldn't be the last time that this might happen in UST.

I live near UST, and studied there for 9 years from Hs to college, at never ako inabutan ng baha sa school. My trick, UWE AGAD, dont wait for suspension. Ok lng ma-absent. Mas important safety

+ there are also students who ended up spending the night in ust because sobrang baha parin. This could've been avoided kung sinama na tayo sa original suspension. Tapos yung statement ni isko, namimilosopo pa sya as if that was a laughing matter.

As a Thomasian alumni, this can get worse pa. Always have extra clothes and rain boots. If you get in contact with rain flood, disinfect immediately. And ask the clinic/hosp for doxycycline. Agree that college students should also be considered when suspending classes.
