no ideas just understanding 💛 My brothers and their kids and my parents have stopped inviting us to anything thats not a holiday dinner. I have turned down alot of invites in the past because my youngest son wouldn’t have handled it but it still hurts to not even get the invite especially since I have 2 other kids at home that would love to go to some of the family events even if their brother and I cant make it!!

im 29, son is 9, were down to really no friends and im not invited to adult things family members do most of the time. I was very thankful that my aunt watched my son and I got to go kayaking with my cousins once this summer it had been years🥰

Im lucky in the sense that my kids dad is in their life so when im in TN they go spend time with their dad and I can go do whatever , but I have the kids majority of the time and they are both autistic so after being not invited to family things for years I decided to move away from it and live my own life with my bf and kids in ga so that it doesnt hurt as bad when im not invited .

we have never been invited to any family ordeals.........we made the effort.to.include everyone but in the end they excluded themselves from our life....
