@dr.rickpescatore: Your gut bacteria make a molecule called imidazole propionate, and it drives amyloid and tau. And no, the answer is not to stop eating eggs. The scientists who ran the study said so themselves. #research #dementia #alzheimers #gutbrainconnection #publichealth

chicken eggs ❌ duck eggs and quail eggs ✅. but there is two types of cholesterol. HDL and LDL. HDL is good for you LDL is bad for you. LDL is the one you want to keep down. it goes a little farther and more in-depth then it's either bad or good for you. cholesterol is not just cholesterol.

I stopped eating eggs because it hurt me to eat them. So, I’ll keep not eating eggs.

I've been following a lot of the studies with people who have made it into their late 90s - 100s and manage to retain strong cognitive function. It definitely seems linked to gut bacteria, with yogurts and probiotics playing a positive role.

This is why eventually you realise the best way for us is still ultimately the boring "eat a balanced diet". Don't do extremes like cutting carbs, high protein etc the body needs a little of everything.
