The writers either didn’t track the tree at all and got lucky or were meticulously aware of who was related because all the oops you have a secret siblings and not once did anyone sleep with a family member.

The selling and growing of cut flowers, plus educational workshops, is what’s financed our property renewal. When we found the property that is now our farm, it was totally overrun with invasive weeds, grasses, compacted soil, and generally just dead. Really, the farm part of the equation came in to help me finance the conversion of the property: to date, we’ve had to pay over $40,000 for tree removal services, trash removal, fencing repairs, and more. To finance all of this, I started selling cut flowers. I really wasn’t very good at it at the beginning, even though I come from a family of farmers, they grow conventional corn and soybeans—a far cry from what we do here! Over time I’ve learned to streamline our processes and make them more efficient and affordable, as well as more environmentally friendly. Nearly 100% of our profits goes back into the property, financing keystone species like oak trees, willows, and hundreds of different varieties of native plants that fill in and nearly 3/4 of an acre that is dedicated just to being wildlife space. Over time, the goal is to have the entire property simply serve as natural habitat, financed by our educational workshops and YouTube and let the property be a natural habitat. It’s taken us five years to do this and so much sweat, blood, and tears— AND I COULDN’T DO IT WITHOUT THIS COMMUNITY. Every time you click on a video or like or share a reel, it helps us on our mission to educate and share. I don’t take sponsorships because I want my information to be 💯 unbiased, so we are fully community funded. Appreciate and love you all. 🥰 #microfarm #backyard #landscape #sustainable #nativeplants
