Proposal for the Methodist Church of Ghana to Establish a Convention and Events Centre I believe the time has come for the Methodist Church Ghana to consider establishing a modern, well-equipped convention and events centre similar to the Pentecost Convention Centre. Such a facility would provide the Church with a permanent and suitable place to host major conferences, conventions, retreats, seminars, leadership meetings, youth programmes, training sessions, and other important church activities. It would also serve as a place where members from different dioceses and circuits, as well as Methodist communities from other countries, could come together in fellowship, worship, learning, and networking. A Methodist Convention Centre could include a large auditorium, conference halls, accommodation facilities, dining areas, recreational spaces, prayer and worship facilities, and other essential amenities. Beyond serving the Church, the facility could also be made available for suitable external events, generating additional revenue to support the Church's programmes and development projects. I believe such an investment would be a significant step forward for the Methodist Church Ghana. It would strengthen the Church's ability to organize large-scale programmes, create a stronger sense of unity among members, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. I therefore respectfully suggest that the leadership of the Methodist Church Ghana consider this vision and begin discussions on how such a project could be initiated and developed. With proper planning, fundraising, partnerships, and the collective support of members, I believe this dream can become a reality. “Let us build not only for today, but for generations yet to come.”
