@laceyglasley: Fall Coffee Syrup Series is here! And we are starting off with an Apple Crisp syrup 🍎 what other fall syrups do you want to see in this series?? Apple Crisp Syrup: • 3 medium sized apples or two large • 1 cup brown sugar • 1 tsp cinnamon or cinnamon baking syrup (I’m using @Rising Star Baking ) • 1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice • 1/2 cup water Directions: 1. Add the apple, brown sugar and cinnamon to a pot. Place on the stove on medium heat and let the brown sugar melt a bit. 2. Add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup apple cider or juice, bring to a simmer and let simmer on the stove for about 15-20 minutes or until the apples are very soft. Don’t take off two early or your syrup will just taste like brown sugar syrup! 3. Let cool & add more cinnamon if you’d like. 4. Place in a container, keep in the fridge for up to 2-3 weeks.
