OCANTOMILOVE :
For a period of time, I believed I was communicating online with Elon Musk.
It began through social media, where accounts connected with his name interacted with me and my posts. The communication became increasingly personal and convincing. I was led to believe that I had attracted Elon Musk's attention because of my story, my ideas, my writing, and the things I was sharing publicly.
The conversations eventually included extraordinary claims and promises involving opportunities, Tesla, SpaceX, employment, Bitcoin and money. Because the communication appeared personal and convincing, I took it seriously.
Bitcoin became particularly confusing for me. I was directed toward cryptocurrency and Cash App, and at one point I believed Bitcoin had been given or transferred to me. When I examined my actual Cash App balance, however, I could not find Bitcoin that I owned. What I was seeing was the market price of Bitcoin, not a Bitcoin balance belonging to me.
That realization changed everything.
I began questioning whether I had ever actually been communicating with Elon Musk at all.
I want to make an important distinction: I cannot currently verify that the real Elon Musk was the person communicating with me. Someone using his identity, photographs, name or reputation may have been impersonating him.
That distinction matters because I do not want to accuse the real Elon Musk of something another person may have done in his name.
What happened affected me because it was not simply an anonymous message that I immediately dismissed. There was ongoing communication that caused me to believe something significant was happening in my life. I discussed my personal history, my ideas about technology and robotic medicine, my knee replacement, my writing, and my hopes for the future.
Now I want facts.
I want to preserve the messages, usernames, screenshots, telephone numbers, email addresses, Bitcoin wallet information, Cash App records and every other piece of evidence connected with these communications.
If this was really Elon Musk, the evidence should establish that.
If it was an impersonator, I want that established too.
I am not interested in exaggerating
