People don't realize that if game companies remove physical copies of games, the companies will have 100% control of your library. They can kick you off the game, make you pay a monthly fee- anything they want and you'll be able to do nothing about it. Dude is fighting the good fight.

if you don’t have a physical disk, you don’t own it. they can strip the game and all your progress whenever they feel like it for whatever reason they think of. if you have a disk, you OWN that disk and the content on it
