i defended queer ships a lot of times, and all those times they called me a "fetishizer" and "heterophobic" (mind you my ships are mostly straight...the straight shippers side of the community is the worst)

I was just talking about this! I don't even hate hetships fr but most hetshippers don't even acknowledge female characters outside of their ship. If I can't engage w/ the fans (aside from them being homophobic) then I simply can't enjoy the ship.
