@raisingresilieofficial: Here's the secret... and it's not rote memorization. Children are capable of learning anything. Here's how we did it: 1. Exposure to a broad range of knowledge. Knowledge compunds. The more they know, the more they can learn, and the faster and easier they learn. 2. Repetition through consistency. No drill and kill. No rote memorization. Just short mini-sessions, spread out through the day. It should feel natural and like play. 3. No mindless distractions. Distraction is the enemy of learning. Phones, tablets, TV. Loud pieces of plastic with flashing lights we call "toys". It's all just mindless entertainment and distraction. Let them be entertained by playing outdoors, or by their parents reading stories to them.
