@bluetsunami2026: To say that Les Misérables: The Arena Concert Spectacular was a huge disappointment would be a BOLD face LIE! This show was not only not a bomb, it was da bomb dot com! I haven’t seen Les Mis live in a hot minute and when I heard the OG casts were coming to town (minus Lea Salonga 😭) I had to be there and I was skimming on cloud 9 the whole time. I specifically targeted Alfie Boe as my Jean Valjean and hot damn he lived up to the hype and then some!! Lit…Gassss…Fiyah!!❤️‍🔥He was all that and a bag of chips, brava Alfie brava!! Across the board we’re talking about powerhouse vocals, the crème de la crème, massive 30-piece orchestra, the Radio City sound system, the emotional impact, the nostalgia, repeated standing ovations, it was just a wonderful night at the theater!! The visuals of the video were striking as well and the battle scenes with the shots into the audience was bonkaz!! A Shout out to Jeremy Secomb as Javert who received 2 standing ovations, deservedly so, Alfie and him brought the house down!! And I can’t forget Samantha Barks as Fantine who is so grown up now and killing it in this role, she is a force to be reckoned with.
