I was so stressed the other day that I completely forgot to feed our dog. Which I treat like my child. My husband got home from work, asked if he ate, and I was like omg no my mind is so overwhelmed i completely forgot. And he responded “you need to snap out of it.” I stood quiet and was stunned. I wanted to curse his ass tf out. Bc like u know i never did that before. Where’s the empathy? I didn’t say a word. Hours later he came to me on his own and said “I’m sorry for approaching you the way that I did. I should’ve asked if you were okay instead and focus on your well being.” It was an amazing moment tbh. I was like woahhhh I’m so happy he caught it 😂
