I'm going on denture journey in 2 weeks I'm terrified. I've severe bone loss and gum disease as well as osteoporosis which I refuse meds .terrified dentures won't stay in my mouth when I get them

I wish they offered me temps but nope I have 2 weeks till impressions then another 6 weeks till I get my dentures and partial ....sucks to eat right now

the dentist made a tray just for my new dentures. they have done 3 wax visits. today the teeth were put in wax today. next week they are doing another wax visit. they are getting all the chances from today that needs to be done. I can see how hard they are trying to get my dentures that actually work this time the dentist said he is working around all the mistakes that happened.

I’ve had my immediate dentures since February and I don’t even want to leave my house. The depression and the pain are so bad. I hate to even look at myself now.

I got my immediate last week however I am in a bit of pain but they look sooo bulky in the front I feel like it has too much gum and my dentist isn’t understanding what I am trying to explain. My original Dental Surgeon is out on medical due to carpal tunnel 😭😭😭 it looks so bad

I’ve loved my immediates,comfy and I can eat anything. I recently got my permanents and have had to have several adjustments due to soreness,I’m wearing my immediates atm as my denturist is away on holiday and my lowers are causing sore spots and I don’t want my sores getting worse,to the point where I can’t eat😣 Is this common? I’m from 🇬🇧

My immediates have been just ok. After 3 months I’m still not eating great, I feel like I look weird, and I have days that I just hate them. I do work with the public and I can only talk for so long before dry mouth takes over. Surely it gets better?

so I was blessed with free service full mouth extraction and he let me wait 2 months to heal then he made my permanent dentures I never had the temporary and honestly I couldn't imagine having something like that in my mouth after having 21 teeth pulled im so blessed he let me skip that part and heal.

I got my extractions almost a month ago but didn't get immediate dentures. What is the optimal time frame to go in to have dentures made? I work from home so I can wait but don't want to wait so long it becomes a problem. Is 6 months about right?

Good morning Tazman69 sent me to your page. I just started my journey last week, had 22 extractions and got immediate Dentures’s. So I am 1 week in I tried eating scrambled eggs, all I can say is that was a pain in the rear. I am trusting the process but it is a struggle to not try to run without learning to crawl. Your videos have been helpful so far in my journey.
