i’m sure this experience is different for everyone but i wanted to bring some perspective by sharing my experiences with yall. A Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) episode happens when your body struggles to regulate blood flow after you stand up. Basically: When you go from sitting/lying → standing, your blood drops to your lower body instead of circulating properly. Your heart then races to compensate. What it feels like: • sudden dizziness or lightheadedness • heart pounding / racing • shakiness or weakness • nausea • blurry vision or “tunnel vision” • sometimes fainting Why it happens: Your nervous system isn’t adjusting blood pressure and heart rate the way it should, so your brain temporarily doesn’t get enough blood flow. ⸻ In today’s example I didn’t have a single case of “standing up dizziness” and everything kinda accumulated at once. it just depends on my body i guess! #potssyndrome #potsepisode #chronicillness #fyp #viral
