There's a lot of Chinese celebrities (Jackson Wang, Wang Yibo etc) that have been "cancelled" for simply being patriotic Chinese citizens. Which is a-ok for Koreans ofc [because they're a US ally but they'll never say that openly]. Like when they get drafted to "defend their freedom & democracy" (something I've actually heard from kpop stans about idols being drafted like its some noble self sacrifice thing). But if a Chinese person dares to post the flag of their country on social media or something they deserve hate for some reason.
