@stellarscope20: What if humans could travel at 99.99% the speed of light? Even then, the universe would remain unimaginably vast—and parts of it forever unreachable. #Space #Universe #Astronomy #Science #Cosmos

one problem, space only exists in the minds of the gullible

light is too slow for space distances, so quit dreaming and get to job of preserving our one and only Mother Earth.

for humans to travel out of this planet, you must conquer, aging, death, need for food

Why is light the constant? Isn’t light just part of a two dimensional spectrum. Shouldn’t we be considering other rays and their speed in those dimensions? And maybe we should think in other dimensions if we want to travel those distances?

The universe is not expanding, it's an enormous vast immeasurable entity beyond our comprehension, space is INFINITE. Lightspeed travel is inconsequential. We can only move through space by bending spacetime. We do not have the technology to bend spacetime yet.

Why 99,99 % and not 100%????? Explain that.

The Prometheus-class starship from Star Trek travels at Warp 9: Roughly 1,516 times light speed. It can reach Alpha Centauri in about 25 hours. So it is possible. 😐

Solid matter can never travel as fast as pure energy. We need to find a way to fold time/ space or a wormhole

making a "ship" or "craft" than is capable of doing this seems difficult. alot of very rare metals to remain stable during this travel rate. that is why there would need to be a different way to travel. thats why I have said "wormhole" in my "opinion" that is creating a "tear" in space time which means that "time" is actually linear.

Well, we better get started. The sooner we start, the faster we will get there. I'll send you a postcard when I get there.

we need to change the way we think of speed and distance or we will never find the answer

Doesn’t calculate for Lorentz contraction tho closer you get to light speed the closer the distance got could actually go 99.999999-% your distance shrinks by 7x

Distances at light speed depend on perspective. For Earth, it is a long time. For Space-shp it's instantaneous.
