Just because your tenancy end date has come round it doesn’t mean you have to move out. As a tenant the law is on your side, read your rights and stay put until you find the right property to move to.

Under new renter rights laws they can’t make you leave with no fault eviction. Unless they are selling it or want to move in and live there you’re now on a rolling agreement. They can’t make you leave

I had a really tough time as well. The only thing that worked was setting up alerts and reaching out to the agent *the moment* a listing came out and asking to be the first to see the flat. Then I also had to pay several months upfront (which is no longer allowed). I ended up finding a place a couple of weeks before I needed to move.
