FunFact: companies struggle but not hire. In my last job they hired DB specialists after 6 months of look. And then they fired him as they belive he should do better. ABSURD

Ok here’s the thing. Most people complain about tech interviews when they’re talking about big tech. 1% of the jobs out there. If you think of the 1% of jobs for business majors (consulting, IB, etc.), the requirements to get an interview are pretty similar. Now, tech interviews at slightly lower level may still be harder than their business major counterparts, but they aren’t as rigorous as many try to think. Everyone just thinks that if I have a CS degree I am entitled to work at FAANG, when I easily could get a fulfilling job doing software development elsewhere.
