Omo, this was me from Friday to Saturday, travelling all the way from Oyo back to Benin City. 😭😂 When we were almost in Benin, police stopped our car. I didn't even notice them at first because I was sleeping. It was around 11pm, and they started searching all of us. The guy sitting close to me, if you see what they found with him ehn… omo, I fear! A calabash full of blood and plenty other things they said were for juju. 😭 They even slapped him and took him to one corner. Me, I had already hidden my own things under the seat, so when they told me to come down, fear catch me. They searched my body and didn't find anything. They asked if I had any other load, and I told them no. Later, they searched the seat too. 😭😁 See the slap wey I chop ehn! Nobody even knew I travelled from Benin to Oyo, so the matter could have gone far. I told them it was just my sickness medication, and they said okay. They even checked my phone and started saying, "This one na boss ooo." 😭😭😭 Then they told us to bring ₦2 million! I thought they were joking until they told our driver to continue driving and said we were going to the station. One of the guys said he only had ₦20k, and they warned him not to repeat it. They drove us back towards where we were coming from and stopped the car, asking if we were ready. I told them honestly that I didn't have anything. They said it wasn't the first time police had stopped me on the road. The other guy said he had ₦15k. There were three of us, but the third guy was the one carrying the juju stuff. They checked my phone and couldn't even find any conversation about money or anything suspicious. They tied me to one side and carried the guys discussing money to another corner, telling them to make calls. Omo, people started sending them ₦20k, ₦10k and ₦30k until one person's money reached ₦150k, and the other reached ₦60k. I started thinking, if I too agree to give them ₦50k, that would make ₦260k, and I haven't even seen one naira in months! 😭😂 Later, they released the other guys, leaving only me there until around 3am. Fear hold me, and I didn't even have money in my account. I even thought maybe I should just offer them ₦20k if I had it
