my friend had a parent email to ask "when are the gay days" as in when do you teach about gay people so her kid could avoid it. jokes on her my friend is a lesbian with a wife, they are all gay days 😂

I had a parent email my principal stating how angry she was that her child’s 2nd grade teacher (me) had a tongue piercing, and that she wanted me removed immediately…I have never had my tongue pierced…ever 😂

genuine question as someone who doesnt have kids. at what age do kids learn to wipe? cuz I feel like helping a 2-3yr old wipe isn't that weird to expect of kindergarten teachers.

My husband had a student stab him with a pencil (he still has a scar 9 years later). When they asked my husband if he wanted to press charges, the students dad threatened to kill me, our dogs, and burn down our house if he did so. This kid was in 8th grade. This was not his first or last violent outburst at school.
