This is the hardest rescue I’ve had to deal with yet but I feel grateful that are rescue pups are comforting these puppies and reassuring them they’ll be ok in our home. A month ago we rescued a mama pit bull and her 3 puppies. Everyone had bellies filled with worms and 2 weeks later, their mange symptoms started appearing. Then the mama attacked our livestock rescues and it was traumatic to see and accept. I’ve never been to the vet so much in one month. I’m cleaning non stop, bathing the puppies and giving them oral supplements for their mange but it doesn’t seem to be enough. Poor babies immune systems are going through a total reset. While I definitely need a vacation and we desperately need to find this family homes, we care about their health above all and want to send them all off well. In order to do this we do need help and I don’t care what the trolls and haters think about me not euthanizing these pups because they’re hard to adopt out. It is my mission to get them well and transport them out of this stray animal crisis in Texas but first we need a clean bill of health. One of the worst feelings I’ve ever felt is being too exhausted to fundraise but I know there life depends on me so I postponed eating dinner to create this content up as quick as I can. This will be my final fundraiser for our last 3 intakes at our animal sanctuary until we find 4-5 dogs homes. If anyone that shares the same passion, kindness and generosity is able to pitch in in any way possible please let me know. We are in need to funds to cover vaccinations, prescriptions, puppy food and fuel costs to get them anywhere healthy in the country.
