I work in IT, so I tend to have a lot of friends and family members calling me for tech support. A few times I’ve been asked to help someone setup their new HP printer, and my answer is just “Take it back, get a Brother”

Got a cannon laser printer about 5 years ago best choice ever I don’t print very often usually around tax time. I know the laser printer cost a little more but the cartridges don’t dry out from lack of use it will work even if I haven’t printed anything in over a year I’m still using the cartridges that came with the printer

Not true. My HP is connected by cable to my computer and laptop via a printer switch since I don’t use the wireless option.

yep I have a HP printer for work and we have to pay for a subscription to use the ink, it won't work if you get different ink. it's ridiculous

I have an older HP printer. Not connected to the internet. I don’t use it a ton but I promise if someday it doesn’t work because it’s not connected, I will sue HP. They will continue to do this as long as we allow them to and while not buying their products is certainly a way to express your anger. This is illegal. It needs to be addressed legally.
