Revvy :
and the conclusion with asking someone from the dead to go and warn his brothers, Abraham said that since they went listen to Moses or the prophets. so yeah it makes sense it's not about faith in Jesus, better they're already not going to listen to the one who was raised.

Mother of an Only Dragon :
Omg. Thank you. Also I don’t want to believe in a God who damns people for eternity. There already are enough atrocities on earth.

Seth Rainsberger :
Matthew 25:41, 46 Jesus speaks of “eternal fire” prepared for the devil and his angels, then contrasts “eternal punishment” with “eternal life.”
Mark 9:43–48 Jesus warns about Gehenna, “where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.”
Matthew 10:28 Jesus says to fear God, who can destroy “both soul and body in hell [Gehenna].”
2 Thessalonians 1:8–9 those who reject God face “eternal destruction” away from the presence of the Lord.
Revelation 20:10, 14–15 the devil is thrown into the lake of fire, then Death and Hades are thrown in, and anyone not found in the Book of Life is also thrown into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8 describes the lake that burns with fire and sulfur as “the second death.”
Daniel 12:2 some are raised to everlasting life and others to “shame and everlasting contempt.”
although the term Hell is made years and years after the Bible was made... we can see 3 different words used to explain the same idea and where we get the idea of hell
Sheol in the Old Testament this was the term for the realm of the dead/grave.
Hades in the New Testament the Greek term for the realm of the dead; often treated as the temporary/intermediate place before final judgment.
Gehenna is the term Jesus associated with final judgment and punishment.
