@ampgirl1: I ran into this little girl at the park and she asked about my leg. She wanted to know what happened, what it looked like "inside", and does it hurt. So, I shared my story, took it off and she even asked to touch it. I said yes and moved the end of my stump for her and she just laughed and laughed. She wasn't being rude or mean, just innocent curiosity. I love when anyone asks about my leg because I get to educate and inform so that when those people come in contact with other amputees it isn't as new to them. That way if the other isn't as comfortable sharing their story, they don't have to. #NationalParks #heatwave #amputeestrong #amputee #prostheticleg
