It's one of the hardest decisions in a renovation, and most people freeze up when they get to the slab yard.   I do a lot of my picking at @arca.ww, and a few slabs always stop me in my tracks. Not because they're the biggest or the most expensive, but because of the color, the character, the kind of movement you can't order twice.   I'm rounding up a few of my recent favorites here.
