Mike, is there a reason why you are on only lithium & an antipsychotic? Are you Bi-Polar 1 or 2? Antipsychotics by definition treat Bi-Polar Mania. Bi-Polar patients are well known for starting to feel good when the medications are working and stop taking them. There is no cure for Bi/Polar. Have you considered that the medication you are on is not working? I am Bi-Polar, treated, and Latuda is part of my medicine regimen and when it was added to my treatment plan. Is your psychiatrist aware you quit taking one of your medications for 5/6 mths (isn't that what you said in another video?). Mood stabilizer? Anti depressant? Anti anxiety meds for your manic episodes maybe? Latuda manages your dopamine and seratonin levels as well. I have never had to go to the hospital, much less having to be committed to get levels back in line. I would never take lithium personally, but you need to work with your psychiatrist to get a treatment plan that at the least keeps you out of the hospital. Are you seeing a therapist as well since you are on psych meds? There are so many tools you can use to help you manage bi-polar disorder along with meds. They make a huge difference along with the right treatment. I think you know all this, but I do not hear you even being stable. I'm sorry you are having such a bad time. I'm not sure TikTok is the forum for you but that's imho.
