How do you get to this stage? Just keep practicing? I tried the figure of 8 and she was just getting tangled in my legs or pulling off to the side 🤷♀️🤦♀️

Do you have any tips on possible fear of cars? My puppy is so on edge walking on a path by the road. We have to stop for every car and wait till it’s passed. He sometimes won’t walk and I feel like I’m dragging him. I stop and give him time, I’ve done loads and loads of exposure by roads with different vehicles right from 8 weeks. As soon as we are on a filed or in a woods he’ll walk perfectly, it’s just along roads. He’s 16 weeks

my puppy knows when she is going home from a walk, once she sees the house she will not move unless she’s going home. i try walking by to teach her but she has none of it. even by using treats to walk by. And she’s a bit weird about a harness at the moment when i go to put it on she lays down to hide as such i try giving her treats on the harness, putting her head through it to get the treat etc but no matter how many times i do it she does not like it, as soon as its on she’s absolutely fine and will be excited but just not before

Do you think the type of lead has any effect on the heel work? Like why do trainers suggest a slip lead? Does this exert pressure on them and if so is that why it works because they get taught that if they go too far ahead it will be uncomfortable? Sorry just curious as I have seen lots online about it no hate or anything :)

do you have any advice on a pomeranian puppy barking/growling whenever he sees a new dog? I don't think its aggressive I think he wants to play with everyone!

Would you say this is better to do on a concrete area like a car park/ culdisac? Or can it work in a grass area too? X

@Lily do you give any commands when walking or do you focus more on body movement as the instructions for loose lead?
