@drgavingcook: If you think you are immune to being manipulated, you are easily manipulable. This reel breaks down some of the reasons for that, making this because I get a lot of comments whenever I make videos on this sort of thing of people saying they are immune to manipulation. That is like saying you can never feel thirst. Manipulation is in many ways both a bug and a feature of human life. The only response to negative manipulation is constant vigilance, constantly asking oneself and possibly others hard questions about many things. More on that in a future reel. sounds like you looked up manipulation on wikihow. you don't need somebody to think you're trustworthy to be able to manipulate them if you understand how people work. while technically true you can't be immune to manipulation you can make it harder for people to manipulate you if you know the methods
