lol I only kept the gender a secret to avoid the inevitable millions of impractical baby clothes at the baby shower, we announced gender and name at the baby shower so that was kinda the trade off

Thank you!!!! First time mom and straight up told everybody I’m getting an epidural! Getting tattoos and piercing my ears back to back I’ll do. But an unmedicated birth yea no thanks

The only reason we haven’t ever shared a name was because 2/3 of our kids were named IN LABOR🤣. People have learned just to not ask me because we likely genuinely don’t know until labor or afterwards! Like our oldest we had a couple of names picked but didn’t settle on one until after he was born. We are on baby 4, we have some options but dont know what we will use until he or she gets here.

my husband and I are keeping the name from extended family his mother-in-law knows I trust her I have a very good mother-in-law and my stepson knows and that's it I don't want to have a conversation with anyone of oh you maybe you should go with this or maybe you should go with that I don't care about their opinion so as soon as it asks about his name I said oh we don't have one even though we do and they just drop it I am too exhausted to do with other people that's the only reason we're not telling and I also don't need a crap ton of things with his name embroidered on it and print It on It whatever

My MIL made me hesitate to share our son’s full name because she made fun of the middle name. Which the middle name is my grandpas middle name and great grandpas first name. So since she made fun of it I’ve rarely told anyone his name.
