Completely geeking out because I’m a military mechanic and work on these engines on the regular. For the alternator, the only 14v output is on the front stud of the voltage regulator. It outputs 24v to the big wire on the body of the alternator. It does however, need 24v power to activate the voltage regulator. Should be the yellow pin on the voltage regulator facing the valve cover. The only reason they have a 12-14v output is because the 4L80E in the humvee is still a 12v circuit. Everything else on the humvee is 24v. So I don’t know how reliable of an output that would be to run the rest of the suburbans circuits.

I believe if it’s not a db2 pump, putting straight oil in it the optical sensor will hate you. The ds4 is very particular with its fuel

Welp the used motor oil does run but not for long before the injectors get carbon up and the pre chambers get full of it too and tops if pistons plus the injection pump gets all gunked up too it’s poop

the 4l80 u got with that h1 is actually kinds neat . only 4l80 to have stright cut gears . that things gonna have some gear noise in a suburban but shouldn't break lol
